Molecular Signatures is developing a diagnostic device with the size and shape of an oral thermometer that can sample saliva to determine if the user is infected by a set of known viruses/bacteria (such as COVID-19). To this end, data from their proprietary electrical sensor is immediately uploaded to the cloud to determine whether the person is infected, and if so by which pathogen, in 1 minute and at a price of 1$/test.
